These EXPANDI® oil booms have inflatable floatation chambers. This feature gives the boom greater buoyancy:weight ratio and lower shipping volume when compared to solid floatation containment booms.

The robust EXPANDI® inflatable oil booms are light weight, easy to handle and can be deployed from reels, pallets, cages aboard boats or in piers.

A wide range of sizes, enables the use of the EXPANDI® inflatable booms in sheltered waters or open seas.

Boom sections are easily connected with a “Norwegian end connector”, standard EXPANDI® or ASTM aluminium connectors.
